Energenie could be really handy for people who regularly fall asleep with the TV on.
Which won’t really work since if you fall asleep with the TV on, it never goes into standby and therefore, the Energenie never kicks on. So then that’s just a waste of money for both the gadget and the utilities bill. It’s just easier to set the sleep timer on the TV to the longest time possible and let it shut itself off (at which point, the Energenie would turn on).
